I met with Neus Reverte’, a courageous young lady from Catalonia (Spain) in Denham WA. I learned she is a surfing instructor and has a degree in Sports science.
Neus uses her skills and passion to empower vulnerable women through Surfing with Emakumea* Surflari Community in San Sebastian!
When she planned her trip to Australia her main purpose was to catch some of the awesome waves she had heard about. Especially in Margaret River WA where she started her trip.
A few months into her adventure she realised to her surprise, that getting in touch with nature, making new friends and finding her inner balance was actually what she was yearning for the most.
She is challenging herself with a road trip on her own starting from Margaret River all the way up the West Coast to Exmouth. Neus is learning to overcome obstacles and taking care of the simple things like which places to stay at and what to cook.
Neus worked as a surf instructor for Emakumea* Surflari (San Sebastian – North of Spain) to help women who experience social exclusion
Neus’ goal is to establish her own business in the near future, bringing that project to her home town Catalonia (Spain) to benefit disadvantaged women. Go Neus!
